6 Ways to Make a Fashion Statement after Age 50+

Let’s talk about how to make a fashion statement after the age of 50+…

6 Simple Ways To Make A Fashion Statement After Age 50+

Do you know the one thing most celebrities agree upon? It’s that age has absolutely nothing to do with fashion and style.

You can look stylish no matter how old you are. As Honey always says, a woman’s style is her biography. So, what do you need to know about how to approach your style and flaunt your body? If you are over 50 and looking for some simple ideas to make a fashion statement; here’s what you need to know!

Beauty Products Are Essential

No matter how amazing you have dressed yourself up, your makeup will always add an extra element of beauty to your look.

You can use various beauty products that will help you look ultra-stylish. These include cream foundation, makeup sponge for application, spa facial masks for healthy skin, and many more. The selection of makeup is as crucial as the selection of an outfit. As well, always finish with a nice lip color. Various shades of red always elevate a look!

You should always apply beauty products according to your outfit, that way you won’t be mismatched. And, it will elevate your look.

Finish Your Outfit With A Scarf

Do you know the best thing about wearing a scarf? It doesn’t matter whether you have it expertly tied or if it is effortlessly draped – you’ll look fantastic. There is no way you should think that a scarf can only be worn by young ladies. As well, you can also tie a small scarf around your wrist for an added pop of color in any outfit.

After the age of 50, you can choose solid colors or animal prints… it’s your style, so it’s up to you! A scarf will serve as a stylish layer to your outfit, and that’s what turns eyeballs around you.

Wear Long, Classic Outerwear

One of the best ways of looking elegant and timeless is to wear long and classic outerwear. Trench coats or raincoats may be the best choice to make yourself look more gorgeous than ever. It can add shape and length to any body type!

Don’t you know about the colors you can wear? Well, rich green or even a camel color coat can do wonders for you.

Don’t Forget To Wear A Blazer

The best thing about a blazer is, it compliments almost every type of outfit. Whether you are wearing some leggings or jeans, a blazer is a top-notch option to look ultra-stylish.

One more thing, it can also go perfectly with boots as well as with heels. Isn’t it impressive?

So, rather than trying various options, wearing a blazer with jeans and a boot is the go-to outfit you should try to let the world know you are still a fashion icon.

Rock An All-Black Outfit

Rocking all black is no longer ’emo’ or ‘goth’ in today’s day and age. In fact, an all-black outfit is very chic and in for women over the age of 50.

Imagine wearing an all-black suit, with a black shirt or blouse; pair with trendy glasses and you will turn heads.

Wear A Skirt – Mind Your Knees

Yes, you’ve read it right. You can wear a skirt after the age of 50, but make sure you mind your knees.

You can wear a skirt of any color, but it should be long enough to cover your knees (no matter how beautiful your legs are). We suggest you not try to look younger than your age because this is where women make mistakes.

Wearing a skirt that can cover your knees will make you look bewitching, keeping in mind the age factor.

No Boundaries to Fashion

See, just because you crossed the over 50+ age line, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your fashion. Remember, fashion has no boundaries or limits.

  1. I totally agree about covering your knees when wearing a skirt or dress. So many times I’ve seen women with above the knee skirts/dresses and thought how much more appealing they would look with just a few more inches to cover the knees.
