Feeling Happy Even In Tumultuous Times
It seems like one thing right after another keeps happening in the world. I don’t know about you, but watching the news can be very disheartening. My heart aches for those on the West Coast, and the firefighters battling the wildfires, and every person who has lost their home.
However, this morning on my walk, I was thinking that despite the bad going on in the world, there is also nothing wrong with being able to find the good in it as well. For our mental health, we must find the things in our daily life that make us smile, and laugh.
So, I encourage you all to talk a walk, journal, make a list of all you are grateful for or pamper yourself in any way you can. Make the time to take care of yourself, darling. You are important, and you are allowed to enjoy life despite it all. It does not mean you do not care about those around you or the current events.
I hope this helps!
