spring cleaning

Spring cleaning doesn’t always mean just cleaning out your closet or tidying up your office space, darlings. It is healthy to take a close-up look at our relationships, to rid of any negative energy around us, and to spend a little more time pampering ourselves. Sometimes it is only then that we feel truly refreshed and ready to tackle the weeks ahead. As I look back on the stories shared over the last week on HoneyGood.com, I am happy to say I believe I take the time necessary to make these changes so I can wake up each day with a positive attitude and a happy heart. Can you say the same? If not, check out this week in review for the four words you need to start using to change your relationships, strange beauty hacks that actually work and how to subtract women from your life who have distasteful traits, leaving you only with strong, vibrant and visible women over 50 to share your valuable time.

A Gift of Friendship

When I was in my 20s, my girlfriend, Carolyn, dropped a little paperback book off at my home. It was “Gift from the Sea” by Anne Morrow. It wasn’t my birthday; the gift was purely a gift of friendship. Little did either of us know that the book would still be sitting on my nightstand decades later! A beautiful little hardback version was reprinted on the book’s 50th anniversary. It is an inspirational book that reflects on the lives of American women. The book is now over 60 years old and is as fresh as the morning dew and as glorious as the beautiful sea.

4 Words to Change Your Relationship with Men Over 50

This week, Honey Good contributor, Lisa Copeland shared a story about her client, Elizabeth, who was an Alpha Female. She was very good at what she did and knew how to get a job done quickly and efficiently. But in her private life, she was unable to flip the switch back to her feminine side. What happened is that her Alpha characteristics, for example, telling men what to do and how to do it, started showing up in her dating life.

Does this sound like you or someone you know?

If you want an Alpha Man in your life – and most of her clients who are Alpha Women always tell her they do – what Lisa shared was important information you’ll want to know and remember. I’ll give you a hint: it’s just four simple words… Find out what they are here.

As the plane shifted, my thoughts turned to my busy, but exciting, schedule for that week. I was truly looking forward to spending time with my co-workers; women who make me happy for a number of reasons. This week I shared the most honorable traits that the women surrounding me have that makes me so lucky to have them. Read the story here.

Add Women to Your Life With Varied Interests

After listening to many women throughout the past few years, I discovered friendships after 50 are simply more important, so add women with varied interests and subtract those with distasteful traits.
