Darlings, I hope every person who celebrated had a wonderful 4th of July Holiday this past weekend. I want to say a special hello to all the folks out there who made the celebrations so memorable. There were lots of fireworks all over the country—it was such a nice sight to see! I was reading an article on NPR about how “tradition” has “burst” back through America, after having to stay inside during last year’s 4th of July celebrations. It made me so proud to be an American, and I’m so happy America is getting back into full swing. I just hope everything stays safe, and remember to keep washing your hands and doing what you have to do to keep your family, yourself, and your community safe!
God bless America and God bless all of you!
Now, on to my weekend musings…

This week, why not make a little list of the things you want to savor? Maybe it’s taking time to connect with loved ones over drinks, enjoying your favorite food, or simply resting and recharging for the week ahead. Take this opportunity to start your weekend with gratitude, and see how it transforms your time with family, friends, and yourself. Remember, it’s the little things that often bring the most joy!
Staying Organized: Simple Habits for a Smoother Summer
As the year moves along and our days fill up with work, family, and all the things we love, staying organized can make all the difference. One habit I’ve found helpful is starting each morning by jotting down a quick to-do list—just a few things you want to accomplish that day. It’s amazing how much clarity this simple act can bring! Don’t forget to carve out time for yourself, too. Whether it’s reading a good book in bed, taking a leisurely walk, or just enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, these moments of self-care help us recharge and stay focused. By making organization a part of your daily routine, you’ll find you have more time for the things that matter most. So, take a look at your habits, see where you can make small changes, and enjoy a smoother, more joyful summer.
