Weekend Musings: Health, Wellness & Much More!

A month from now it will be summer, so I’m trying to enjoy spring as much as I can. I love everything about spring, from the flowers to the weather, to the excitement of upcoming summer travel. We did our first trip to Arizona the other week to see my daughter Jenny and her family. It was so wonderful to finally visit my family after many months of being apart. You don’t realize how much you miss hugs until you can’t give them for so long!

Spring also is a time to bloom into change and bloom into new life. There are many changes coming to the Honey Good website that we’ve been working on all winter…I can’t wait for you to see them.

Indoor Fat-Burning Walking Workout

Summer is coming, so it’s time to work off any weight we’ve packed on during the winter so we can fit into our bikinis. I love finding new workouts that I can do at home that are low impact, and easy to do from inside a home or apartment. When I searched YouTube I found this fun indoor fat-burning walking workout that I thought I would try. It was so much fun and very easy to do. This is a nice workout to get started and something a person with bad knees or joints could do.

Easy and Impressive Chicken Dinners  by Tasty

To go along with being healthier, I thought I would search and find easy chicken dinners that we can make for ourselves and our family’s. Chicken is a great lean protein and does wonders for the body. It’s also fairly easy to cook with and easy to make flavorful. In this video, you’ll find several easy and impressive chicken dinners to try this spring and summer. Don’t they look delicious? Let me know if you try any!

Chef AJ – The Guru Professor of Vibrant Health!

To round up or theme of health, last September we had vibrant health guru, Chef AJ, as a guest speaker during our GRANDwomen with Moxie’s Virtual Friendship Hour. She spoke to all of us and let us ask any questions we wanted on health and diet. She is an author and was once overweight herself. Now she helps many people lose weight and become healthier!   1. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to visit your family. I just got back from a trip to GA to see my grandson graduate from high school. It was not only great to spend 10 days with my family, but those hugs have been missed for wa-a-a-y to long. Hopefully this is just the beginning of our travels and many more hugs….
