Weekend Musings: Facing Adversity, April Reading, Recipes & More!

Happy mid-April, darling. I hope you are enjoying your spring so far. I have recently been dealing with some changes at Honey Good. It got me thinking about how we deal with adversity in our lives. There are two ways we can deal with it, either shut down or fight it head-on. Either choice is a valid choice, but of course, I believe it’s better if we deal with it head-on.

When attacking our adversities head-on, it’s important to remember to always stay strong and grounded. Do whatever it takes to keep your feet planted. Meditate when feeling weak, take a deep breath, and give yourself a pep talk. Always remember that no matter what happens, things always get better. You will always find the light in the dark.

As well, when dealing with a problem, think of the pros and cons of all your choices. This will raise your self-esteem in the situation because you will have options. Doesn’t having options feel wonderful?

I hope this helps you if you are going through something hard right now. I am right there with you darling. We will make it through together.

Now, on to my Weekend Musings…
