Hello, darlings! I am off enjoying my delightful Mediterranean cruise. Just some of the locations we’ve been and are going to include Monte Carlo, the Amalfi Coast, Sicily and Sardinia. I can’t wait to share with you all about my adventures. I do hope you all are enjoying the final weeks of summer. Soon fall will be upon us! We want to soak up as much of the sun as possible before then.
Summer Food & Wine Pairings
I adore a great party, but I especially love being the ‘hostess with the mostest‘. There is nothing better than having your friends and family over for an evening soiree with great food, wine and company.
Now, I don’t know about you, but sometimes I struggle pairing food and wines together perfectly. There is something so special about a perfect pairing and I am always interested in how I can learn more about this skill. If you are as well, check out this great article from TheWeek on 6 food and wine pairings to get you through the summer.
As the author notes, “Taking the time to pair food with wine for a special-occasion not only takes any meal over the top, but also shows that you’ve put some extra thought and care into what you’re serving.” And I must agree!
A lot of the pairings given in this article, including the Burrata with prosciutto and rosé sound absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try some of them with my ultimate concierge and friends!
TSA Liquid Rules
There is nothing more frustrating than waiting in a long security line at the airport before a long travel day. Oftentimes lines are held up because so many people neither know nor follow TSA’s rules, causing lines to back up significantly. Have you ever wondered exactly what TSA’s liquid rules are? Can you bring 1 oz bottles or up to 3 oz? Can you bring a water bottle or drink through security?
The guidelines can be confusing. To avoid throwing away any expensive beauty items or holding up the line, you should ensure you understand the rules of flying to greatly decrease your travel stress.
