I hope you all had a lovely first week of summer. If you’re in the Pacific Northwest, I hope that you are attempting to stay cool and safe. I know it’s hot in other places too, so I do hope we all stay cool.
Summer is one of my favorite times of the year…why? Because it’s a time of travel, family fun, the 4th of July, BBQs, and everything in between. I also love summer fashion, and I hope to share more style and fashion tips with you in the coming months on my blog! If you haven’t, please take a moment to look at my picks for summer sunglasses and summer hats and handbags.

Your style is made up of both your inner and outer beauty, plus a closet that will last you a lifetime. Watch to find out more!
Lazy Girl Full Body (No Impact) Workout
Darling, since it’s summer, I’m sure you’re thinking about your summer body. Though I believe all bodies are summer bodies, I know that you all like to move and groove, just as I do. Besides walking, I also love to exercise in my home.
I was drawn to this workout video because it was called a “lazy girl” workout. This workout is low impact, so it’s fine for your joints and is only 7 minutes long.
If you are struggling with working out, but you need to move your body, this short workout will be perfect to get you started! Let me know if you try it.
Summertime Recipes With Gordon Ramsay
Everyone knows who Gordon Ramsay is, and we all trust that his food is delicious. Since it’s officially summer, I had to find some more summer recipes to share with you. In this video, Mr. Ramsay makes pomegranate marinated quail – a light summer dish that he makes look easy to cook.
And remember darling, just because it’s summer, it doesn’t mean that you have to only cook BBQ either. Check out last week’s musings for more summer recipes.
